5. Write a report on the devastating consequences of drug addiction.

Hundreds of people, mainly the youths, are addicted to drug in Bangladesh and it affects our society seriously.

It is found that drug addiction mainly comes from frustration. The frustrated persons take drugs for relief. They have a wrong idea that drugs will help them to   remove frustration. But it does not help them rather it destroys them.

The present social system is very unequal. Unemployment is everywhere. Superstitions কুসংস্কার are in the minds of the people. Politics is very volatile অস্থির. Crimes and corruption are everywhere. Such is the situation in Bangladesh where drug addiction is a social disease.

Normally the young people are very emotional. They become the first target of drug. It is very unfortunate that many promising youths সম্ভাবনাময় যুবকেরা destroy their life for drug.

To remove drug addiction family relationship should be developed. Children should be taught moral teachings. Parents must be conscious. The atmosphere in schools and colleges should be cordial. Above all, the law enforcing agencies must be alert.
