Internet is a modern way of communication .It is a network of computers .For Internet ,we need a computer and a modem .A modem is a small part of machine .It connects a computer with the network .There are three networking systems .These are Local Area Network ,Metropolitan Area Network and World-wide Area Network .There are two types of Internet .These are on-line internet and off-line Internet .The uses of Internet are much .By using Internet ,we can bring the whole world into our homes  .We can enter into the world of information through Internet . Besides ,we get voicemail ,e-mail ,telephone ,web- phone ,fax ,telex and video conference .Internet is widely used in trade ,banking, education and journalism .It is a source of popular entertainment .But the abuses of Internet are terrible .Sometimes Internet is used by terrorist and criminals .Again it brings immoral elements into our homes .It is called cyber crime .So we should be alert so that Internet can not be abused .
