31. Corruption

Corruption is an unlawful act. We find it everywhere. It is most common in Bangladesh. The effects of corruption are serious. It damages the image of a country. It destroys a country’s economy. We know that Bangladesh is one of the most corrupted countries in the world. It is a shame for us. We got our independence forty-one years ago. But we could not develop our country properly for corruption. Politicians are mainly responsible for this. Most of the politicians are corrupted in our country. As a result, politics in Bangladesh is corrupted. Besides, businessmen are also corrupted. They know only how to profit. They never think of public interest. Moreover, most government officials are involved in corruption. To get rid of corruption, young generation should come forward. They are our hope. Only they can make our country corruption free.
