It is well known that corruption is a number one problem in Bangladesh, which eats up the country’s economy as well as the society.

Corruption is an unlawful act. It is most common in Bangladesh. The effects of corruption are serious. It damages the image of a country. It destroys a country’s economy. At present Bangladesh is one of the most corruption countries in the world. It is a shame for the country. Bangladesh got its independence forty- one years ago. But the country could not develop properly for corruption. Politicians are mainly responsible for this. Most of the politicians are corruption in this country. As a result, politics in Bangladesh is corrupted. Besides, businessmen are also corrupted. They know only how to profit. They never think of public interest. Moreover, most government officials are involved in corruption.

 To get rid of corruption, young generation should come forward. Only they can make the country corruption free.
