Lost is great win

Taimur was a great conqueror. But at his young age he learnt an important lesson from an idly woman which helped him a lot later on. Once he attacked the province of a powerful Prince. But as he attacked the province right at the middle, the prince’s army soon surrounded him on all sides. He lost all him men.
Being able to escape one day he begged for food to an old woman.  The kind women gave him food.
Taimur pushed his fingers at the middle of the dish and as the food was very hot, he burnt his fingers. The old women rebuked him saying that he was as greedy as Taimur . If Taimur had attacked the province at one end he might have conquered it. Taimur got the point and in course of time became one of the greatest conquerors of the world.
