9. Write a report on Nazrul’s Birth Anniversary Celebrated.

Nazrul’s Birth Anniversary Celebrated

Manikganj, May 27, 2013.

To observe the 11 4^th birth anniversary(বার্ষিকী) of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, district administration arranged two-day long programs at the ancestral home (পৈত্রিক বাড়ি )of the poet’s wife Promila Nazrul in Manikganj.

The local lawmaker inaugurated the program while local administration high-ups and cultural personalities addressed the function. The speakers urged citizens to draw inspiration from the life and works of Nazrul. They thanked the Prime Minister for taking steps to renovate the birthplace of the poet’s wife.  Besides, they demanded a library, an institute and a public hall there.

After the discussion, the local cultural organization arranged a very enjoyable cultural show. They performed(পরিবেশন করল) attractive dances, rendered songs and recited poetry( কবিতা আবৃত্তি করল).
